The Faculty of Allied and Health Care Sciences at Bareilly International University, Bareilly organized an awareness lecture on Financial Literacy for students. The objective of the program was to make students aware of the importance of money management, savings, investment, and financial planning.
The keynote speaker of the program was Mr. Rachit Dixit, who explained the importance of financial literacy to students in a simple and effective manner. He emphasized that in today’s time, along with education, the ability to make the right financial decisions is equally important for young people. He also provided valuable insights on developing the habit of saving, preparing a budget, and making appropriate investments for the future.
The program was conducted and coordinated by Academic In-charge Dr. Amarnath Sharma. During the session, he stated that such lectures play a significant role in the holistic development of students and help them become aware of practical aspects of life.
On this occasion, Principal Dr. Prashant Gupta addressed the gathering and highlighted that financial literacy is extremely essential for every student in the present era. He said that if students develop an understanding of proper money management, savings, and investments from the early stages of their lives, they can become economically stronger and more self-reliant in the future. He further motivated students by stating that knowledge related to life management, along with education, helps them move toward success.
A large number of students along with faculty members were present during the event. Several faculty members from the department attended the program, including Assistant Professors Sujata Katiyar, Sumbul Khan, Pooja Katiyar, Swarnima Singh, and NSS Programme Officer Ankit Kumar. All participants appreciated the lecture and described it as highly informative and inspiring.
At the end of the program, the Vice Chancellor Dr. Lata Agrawal extended her best wishes to all participants and organizers. She stated that such awareness programs significantly contribute to the overall development of students and prepare them better for the future.
