The Faculty of Allied and Healthcare Sciences at Bareilly International University, Bareilly organized an awareness lecture on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). The objective of the program was to make students aware of the importance of intellectual property rights and their protection.
The lecture was conducted by Dr. Utkarsh and Ms. Menal from the Incubation Center of Bareilly International University. During the session, they provided detailed information about various aspects of IPR, including patents, copyrights, trademarks, and designs. They explained that IPR plays a crucial role in protecting research, innovation, and new discoveries. They also encouraged students to safeguard their ideas and inventions through proper registration and legal protection.
On this occasion, Principal Dr. Prashant Gupta addressed the students and emphasized that in the modern era, knowledge and innovation are the true assets. He motivated students by stating that if any student develops a new idea, research outcome, or invention, it should be properly registered to protect intellectual property. He further added that the university continuously encourages students to engage in research and innovation through such academic initiatives.
The program was coordinated by Dr. Anmol Sharma. The event was attended by Academic In-charge Dr. Amarnath Sharma, Assistant Professors Mahima Tiwari, Sujata Katiyar, Pooja Katiyar, and Swarnima Singh, as well as NSS Programme Officer Ankit Kumar, along with other faculty members and a large number of students.
At the end of the program, Vice Chancellor Dr. Lata Agrawal extended her best wishes to all the participants and organizers for successfully conducting such an informative event. She stated that programs like these play an important role in strengthening the spirit of innovation and research among students.
