Faculty of Forensic Sciences is a constituent of Bareilly International University, Bareilly. Bareilly International University, Bareilly is established in accordance to UGC Act 1956 by the Uttar Pradesh Govt. Act No. 26 of 2016 dated 16th Sep. 2016. The University is promoted by Rohilkhand Charitable Educational Trust and is functional from session 2016-17 with ‘excellence towards profession’.

In a world where health is of utmost importance and yet is in the face of great perils caused ironically by our own advancement, Forensic science is a branch of science that provides candidates with knowledge and skills of scientific principles and techniques to analyse physical evidence in legal investigations and criminal cases. Forensic science is offered to the candidates at certificate, undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Candidates learn specialized tools and methodologies to examine evidence such as DNA, fingerprints, bloodstains, and digital data.
After completion of a course in forensic science, candidates can pursue job roles like Investigative Officer, Forensic Accountant, Forensic Scientist, and Cyber Forensic Expert. The top recruiters for the graduates of Forensic Science are the State Forensic Science Laboratory (SFSL), Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL), CBI, NIA, AIIMS New Delhi, and Christian Medical College (CMC).
Faculty of Forensic Sciences was set up in the year 2022 with an aim of creating new generation Forensic Experts to take up new challenges in the field of forensic science. The College strives to encourage entrepreneurship, and finally, instil the quality and ethics of Judiciary and Law in the students. The College is deeply committed to mould quality professionals with character and competence to touch the humanity with a compassionate heart.
