The Faculty of Allied and Health Care Sciences at Bareilly International University celebrated International Women’s Day with great enthusiasm and dignity. The theme of this year’s celebration was “Give to Gain,” highlighting the importance of cooperation, service, and empowerment in society.
The program was skillfully anchored by Dr. Sakshi Bhatnagar. The event began with an inspiring address by Assistant Professor Tabassum Fatima, who spoke about the strength, confidence, and growing contributions of women in society. She emphasized that true empowerment becomes possible when women support each other and work together for positive social change.
Several engaging and entertaining activities were organized during the event, in which faculty members actively participated. These activities added vibrancy and joy to the celebration and encouraged interaction among the participants.
On this occasion, Principal Dr. Prashant Gupta appreciated the dedication and contributions of women faculty members. He stated that women are playing a vital role in the fields of education, healthcare, and various sectors of society. He extended his warm wishes to all on the occasion and expressed hope for their continued success and achievements.
The event witnessed the active participation of faculty members including Sujata Katiyar, Mahima Tiwari, Gulfashan Saifi, Dr. Sumbul Khan, Dr. Pooja Katiyar, Upasana Yadav, Swarnima Singh, Shikha Kumari, Farheen, Manisha Saxena, Shreya Bhardwaj, Amber Azmi, Saba Naaz, Muskan Malik, and NSS Programme Officer Ankit Kumar.
In her concluding message, Vice Chancellor Dr. Lata Agrawal extended heartfelt greetings on International Women’s Day. She highlighted that women are the strong foundation of society, and their contributions are essential for building a progressive and prosperous nation. She also appreciated such initiatives that recognize and encourage the achievements and empowerment of women.
The event concluded on a positive note, reinforcing the importance of respect, support, and equal opportunities for women in all spheres of life.
