Bareilly International University celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India on Saturday, 15th August 2026 with great enthusiasm, patriotic spirit, and unity.The celebrations were held at the Jhanda Ground on the university campus. Faculty members, teaching staff, non-teaching staff, and administrative staff gathered together at 10:00 AM to mark the occasion.The National Flag was hoisted at 10:15 AM by the Chief Guest, Mr. Shambhu Kumar, IAS, Divisional Commissioner, Bareilly (U.P.). In his address, he spoke about the importance of freedom, national integration, and the role of youth and educational institutions in nation-building.
The event concluded with a collective pledge to uphold the values of our Constitution and contribute towards a progressive India. The ceremony reflected the true spirit of patriotism and reminded everyone of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters.Bareilly International University remains committed to nurturing responsible citizens who contribute to the growth and development of the nation.
