The Janmashtami celebration was organised by Rohilkhand College of Nursing under the guidance of Mrs. Karishma Goswami (PG Nursing Tutor) and Ms. Shweta Singh (PG Nursing Tutor) on 9th August 2025 at RMCH Temple, Bareilly. The event was conducted to commemorate the birth of Lord Krishna and to instil values of devotion, compassion, and cultural pride among students and faculty.
Highlights:
The programme began with the arrival of faculty and students at 6:15 pm, followed by a vibrant evening programme at 6:45 pm. Students presented devotional songs, bhajans, and captivating skits depicting the life and teachings of Lord Krishna. Spiritual activities, collective prayers, and temple rituals created a divine and inspiring atmosphere.
The celebration concluded at 10:00 pm with blessings at the temple. The event successfully encouraged spiritual growth, unity, and cultural awareness.
Conclusion:
The Janmashtami celebration left a deep impact on the hearts of students and faculty, reminding everyone of the eternal values of love, service, and righteousness.
