World Mental Health Day was observed at Rohilkhand College of Nursing, Bareilly, on 10th October 2025 with the theme “Access to Services: Mental Health in Catastrophes and Emergencies.” The day, first initiated by the World Federation for Mental Health in 1992, aims to raise awareness about the significance of mental well-being. The 2025 theme emphasizes providing mental health and psychosocial support during and after crises to prevent long-term harm, reduce suicidal risk, and help individuals manage extreme stress. On this occasion, various programs were organized to educate faculty members, students, and staff about maintaining mental health during emergencies. Mr. Anurag Sharma (Nursing Tutor) summarized the theme, explaining its importance and strategies to promote mental health. Mr. Kapil Patel (Assistant Professor) conducted stress-relief games, while Mr. Ravishankar (Assistant Professor) led a flute meditation session. The event concluded with a pledge to Prevent, Promote, and Protect Mental Health for all.
