Introduction:
A TB screening and counselling programme was organized on 20th September 2025 at Rohilkhand Medical College and Hospital, Rohilkhand college of nursing Bareilly. The main objective was to identify vulnerable women at risk of Tuberculosis and to create awareness regarding prevention, early detection, and treatment adherence.
Highlights:
More than 50 peoples from nearby communities participated in the programme.
Screening included symptom assessment and sputum examination for suspected cases.
Counselling sessions were conducted on TB prevention, treatment adherence, nutrition, and hygiene.
Educational pamphlets were distributed to enhance public awareness.
The programme was successfully conducted with the active participation of, nursing students, and community medicine staff.
Conclusion:
The programme was effective in promoting awareness about Tuberculosis among vulnerable population. It emphasized early detection, prevention, and community participation to control TB. The event reflected the commitment of Rohilkhand College of Nursing towards public health improvement and disease prevention.
