SNAI Election Success: Rohilkhand College of Nursing Secures Joint Secretary Position

On 31st March 2026, Rohilkhand College of Nursing actively participated in the SNAI Election organized by the Trained Nurses Association of India, UP State Branch. The college was represented by Mr. Velladurai Narayanan and Ms. Karishma Goswami, along with five student participants.

We express our sincere gratitude to our respected Principal Ma’am Dr. Priyanka A. Masih, Vice Principal Ma’am, Dr. Anitha P., for providing us with this valuable opportunity. Their continuous support, guidance, and encouragement made our participation in this prestigious event possible and successful.

  1. Aman Patel (B.Sc. Nursing IV Year) – SNA Chairperson
  2. Akshita Verma (ANM II Year) – SNA Treasurer
  3. Rakhi (GNM III Year) – SNA Joint Secretary
  4. Lovepreet Kaur (B.Sc. Nursing III Year) – SNA Programme Chairperson
  5. Vedanti (B.Sc. Nursing III Year) – SNA Vice Chairperson

 

The team departed at 5:00 AM for Lucknow and reached the venue at approximately 11:00 AM. Upon arrival, registration was completed after verification of SNA cards. The election was held at Nirmal Auditorium, Samarpan College of Nursing Lucknow.

The program commenced with a lamp lighting ceremony by Mrs. Kumudini Mishra

(President TNAI Uttar Pradesh State Branch), Mrs.Bhumika Singh (SNAI, Secretary) and Dr. Jasmi Johnson of (State SNAI advisor, TNAI, U.P State branch) and Dr. Dipti Shukla (Principal SINPS) etc. Voting took place from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM and was conducted in a transparent manner, being streamed live via YouTube and Zoom meeting. The counting of votes was carried out from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM in the presence of unit in-charges and SNA advisors.

At around 5:00 PM, the results were officially announced by Prof. Dr. Jasmi Johnson

(State SNAI advisor, TNAI, U.P State branch). It is a matter of great pride that Ms. Rakhi (GNM III Year) from Rohilkhand College of Nursing secured the position of SNA Joint Secretary with a total of 8 votes.

The program concluded at 6:30 PM. Thereafter, the team returned to Bareilly and reached the college campus at approximately 12:30 AM.
