Nation-Wide Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Awareness Week from 13th to 17th October, 2025

Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) week celebration was organized by Medical & Surgical Nursing department of RCN on 13/10/2025. The event held in Multipurpose hall of RCN from 10:00 A.M to 01:00 P.M. The event was hosted by Mrs. Lourembam Priyalata Devi Assistant Professor (Dept. of MSN), “The initiative aims of this awareness week is to enhance awareness, preparedness and capacities of general public across all sectors in performing CPR” and participate all the faculty and students of G.NM I year & A.N.M I year.

The event was started with formal welcome speech by Dr. Anitha.P Vice Principal Rohilkhand College/school of Nursing.

In the speech Dr. Anitha.P Vice Principal welcomed honorable Dr. Priyanka A Masih, Principal Rohilkhand College/school of Nursing and other faculties and students and she explain about the importance of CPR.

After that Mrs. Lourembam Priyalata Devi invited honorable Dr. Priyanka A Massy Principal Rohilkhand College/school of Nursing was unfolding the “Nation – wide Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation Awareness week” and she educate and Support, Step up for CPR seeks to involve communities, healthcare systems, women and the workplace, community support, and every  individuals.

Then, Mrs. Lourembam Priyalata Devi invited Mr. Dinesh Singh Assistant professor RCN recited English and Hindi Nation -wide pledge on Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation. And continuation of online demonstration of CPR webcasted by Registered link- https://echo.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN fsVmS1OvR12tE3szTQU0Cg. The event aimed to create awareness and encourage every citizen to be empowered with life-saving CPR skills. All faculty members and students actively participated in taking the pledge, demonstrating their commitment to spreading CPR awareness and contributing to saving lives in emergency situations.

After that Mrs. Lourembam Priyalata Devi invited Mrs. Anju Singh Assistant Professor for physical demonstration of Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation on ` CPR Mennequin at Multipurpose Hall RCN.

“The initiative aims of this awareness week is to enhance awareness, preparedness and capacities of Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) week celebration was organized by Medical & Surgical Nursing department of RCN on 14/10/2025. The event held in Multipurpose hall of RCN from 10:00 A.M to 01:00 P.M. The event was hosted by Mrs. Lourembam Priyalata Devi Assistant Professor (Dept. of MSN), general public across all sectors in performing CPR” and participate all the faculty and students of G.NM II year & A.N.M I year. Non teaching staff,  Liberian and Peon etc.

Mr. Dinesh Singh Assistant professor RCN recited English and Hindi Nation -wide pledge on Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation.

Then, Mrs. Lourembam Priyalata Devi Assistant Professor performed the physical demonstration of Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation on  CPR Mennequin at Multipurpose Hall RCN.

Continuation of “Nation- Wide Cardio- Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Awareness Week” we are attending A pan – India panel discussion on CPR techniques and role of by standards at 03:00 pm – 04:00 pm  Multipurpose Hall RCN. The event was hosted by Mr. Dinesh Singh Assistant professor RCN.

Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) week celebration was organized by Medical & Surgical Nursing department of RCN on 15/10/2025. The event held in Multipurpose hall of RCN from 10:00 A.M to 01:00 P.M. The event was hosted by Mrs. Lourembam Priyalata Devi Assistant Professor (Dept. of MSN), “The initiative aims of this awareness week is to enhance awareness, preparedness and capacities of general public across all sectors in performing CPR” and participate all the faculty and students of B.SC Nursing III, IV year G.NM III year & A.N.M   IIyear.

Then, Mrs. Lourembam Priyalata Devi Assistant Professor  & Mrs. Anju Singh Assistant Professor performed the physical demonstration of Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation on CPR Mennequin at Multipurpose Hall RCN.

We are conducting physical demonstration through role play at 10:00 am – 12:00 pm Rohilkhand Medical College & Hospital (RMCH) OPD. The event was organized by Mr. Vaibhav Singh P.G Tutor and Ms. Shweta Singh P.G Tutor.

Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) week celebration was organized by Medical & Surgical Nursing department of RCN on 16/10/2025. The event held in Multipurpose hall of RCN from 02:00 P.M to 04:00 P.M. The event was hosted by Mrs. Lourembam Priyalata Devi Assistant Professor (Dept. of MSN), “The initiative aims of this awareness week is to enhance awareness, preparedness and capacities of general public across all sectors in performing CPR” and participate all the faculty and students of B.SC Nursing 1st year .

Then, Mrs. Lourembam Priyalata Devi Assistant Professor and Mrs. Anju Singh Assistant Professor performed the physical demonstration of Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation on CPR Mennequin at Multipurpose Hall RCN and return demonstration by student.

Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) week celebration was organized by Medical & Surgical Nursing department of RCN on 17/10/2025. The event held in Multipurpose hall of RCN from 10:00 A.M to 12:00 P.M. The event was hosted by Mrs. Lourembam Priyalata Devi Assistant Professor (Dept. of MSN), “The initiative aims of this awareness week is to enhance awareness, preparedness and capacities of general public across all sectors in performing CPR” and participate all the faculty and students of B.SC Nursing 2nd year .

Then, Mrs. Lourembam Priyalata Devi Assistant Professor and Mrs. Anju Singh Assistant Professor performed the physical demonstration of Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation on CPR Mennequin at  10:00 am to 12:00 pm Multipurpose Hall RCN and return demonstration by student.

In continuation of this programe we are conduction online Quiz competition through My Gov portal at 10:00 am at The objective of this event was to enhance awareness and knowledge about Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) among nursing students and to promote the importance of timely and effective intervention during cardiac emergencies. A total of 18 students from ANM, GNM, and B.Sc. Nursing programs took part in the competition with great enthusiasm and interest. 

The Nationwide cardio pulmonary Resuscitation week ended with Vote of Thanks proposed by Mr. Dinesh Singh Assistant Professor RCN.

The whole programme was initiated, planned and successfully completed under the guidance and support of respected Principal Dr. Priyanka A Masih, and Vice Principal Dr. Anitha P Rohilkhan College/ School of Nursing.
