The 2025 theme, “Overcoming Disruption, Transforming the AIDS Response,” highlights the importance of resilience in HIV prevention, care, and treatment services, especially in the face of global health crises and service interruptions.

In alignment with this theme, Rohilkhand College of Nursing organized a series of educational and interactive activities including Poster Making Competition, Role Play, Quiz Competition, and a Student Panel Discussion.

These activities aimed to:

  • Educate students and participants about HIV/AIDS epidemiology, modes of transmission, and preventive strategies
  • Promote awareness of modern diagnostic techniques and treatment options
  • Address the stigma and discrimination often faced by people living with HIV
  • Highlight the importance of continuity in HIV care and treatment during disruptions in healthcare systems
  • Encourage students to develop empathy, social responsibility, and proactive community engagement
  •

The programme also provided a platform for students to showcase their creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork while reinforcing the significance of public health advocacy.
