Introduction
National Voters’ Day is celebrated every year on 25 January to mark the foundation day of the Election Commission of India and to encourage citizens, especially youth, to actively participate in the democratic process. In this regard, Rohilkhand College of Nursing, Bareilly organized National Voters’ Day on 24 January 2026 with great enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility.
Objectives of the Program
- To create awareness about the importance of voting
- To encourage ethical and informed participation in elections
- To promote democratic values among students and staff
- To take a pledge for free, fair, and inclusive voting
Program Details
The program was conducted in the Multi-Purpose Hall (MPH) of the college. The event began with a welcome address by the program coordinator, who highlighted the significance of National Voters’ Day and its theme.
An address was delivered emphasizing the role of young voters in strengthening democracy and the importance of exercising one’s right to vote without fear, bias, or inducement.
Student Participation
