A one-day workshop on the topic “Comprehensive Lactation Management” was successfully organized by Tishha Consultancy (LLP) on 14 November 2025 at the auditorium of Rohilkhand College of Nursing, Bareilly International University, Bareilly.
The programme was chaired by Dr. Priyanka A. Masih, Principal, and Dr. Anita P., Vice-Principal of the college. The workshop began with the lighting of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana by the Principal, Vice-Principal, and the guests from Tishha Consultancy.
The Tishha Consultancy team included Mrs. Komila Sharma Dingra (HR Manager), Mr. Ranjith TR, Mrs. Tanisha Gupta, and Mr. Saksham. Associate Professor Mrs. Princia Rolita D’Souza delivered the welcome address and greeted all the guests warmly.
On this occasion, the expert team from Tishha Consultancy provided detailed insights on the importance of initiating breastfeeding early for maternal and newborn health, correct breastfeeding positions, and solutions to common breastfeeding challenges. A live demonstration session was also conducted, covering practical aspects such as breastfeeding techniques, methods to increase milk production, breast health, and safe storage and use of expressed breast milk for working mothers. A Q&A session allowed participants to discuss their doubts, which were addressed by the experts.
A Poster Presentation Competition was also organized, in which students creatively expressed their ideas through informative posters. Rakhi (GNM Final Year) secured the first position, while Nikita Badoi (B.Sc. Nursing Final Year) won the second position. Mr. Tarun Dhyani (Assistant Professor) served as the judge for the competition. The winners expressed that the workshop was highly useful, informative, and enhanced their practical knowledge.
The programme concluded with the address of Mr. Mukesh Singh (Assistant Professor), who emphasized the importance of such workshops in enhancing the skills of nursing students in maternal and child health services. He also extended gratitude to the entire Tishha Consultancy team.
The event was coordinated by Ms. Mahima Singh (PG Nursing Tutor) and hosted by Mr. Vaibhav Singh (PG Nursing Tutor).
