World Rabies Day was observed on 29th September 2025 at Rohilkhand College of Nursing, Bareilly, in the M.P. Hall, organized by the college faculty and students. The event aimed to spread awareness about rabies, its prevention, and control measures. The theme “Act Now: You, Me, Community” emphasized the collective responsibility of preventing rabies through education and timely vaccination.
The program began with a formal welcome in the presence of Dr. Priyanka A. Masih (Principal), Dr. Anita P. (Vice-Principal), faculty members, and students. Mrs. Shikha Singh (P.G. Assistant Professor) presented a PowerPoint highlighting the causes, transmission, vaccination, and first aid after animal bites. Faculty members encouraged students to participate in community awareness activities, and students shared their reflections on rabies prevention. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs. Shikha Singh, appreciating everyone’s contribution. The program successfully inspired participants to support rabies prevention and elimination by 2030.
